Description
The primary purpose of this role is to manage Winona IT projects through the four main phases of a project lifecycle: Discovery, Planning, Execution, Closure. A project manager is responsible for maintaining the appropriate project documentation, communicating effectively with stakeholders and resources, regularly reporting on project progress, anticipating and managing risks, and resolving obstacles that put the project schedule at risk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.
- Plan and implement new software for clients such as VOIP phone systems and Microsoft 365 environments
- Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and acceptance criteria
- Lead a team of project resources to successful completion of a project
- Manage project budget and ensure the project stays on track and within budget constraints
- Responsible for creating the project schedule and maintaining the project timeline
- Responsible for tracking progress on deliverables
- Monitor overall project progress and report out regularly
- Present progress reports to project stakeholders and report on problems as well as solutions
- Responsible for change management process and ensuring project outputs are met
- Responsible for evaluation and assessment of the result of the project
- Coordinate training after implementation and participate in client training as needed
- Responsible for leading meetings efficiently and effectively
- Lead weekly adjustment meeting
- Responsible for identifying new opportunities within existing clients
- Responsible for communication regarding resource allocation

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in business or information technology related field
- At least 3-5 years’ experience managing projects for a Managed Services Provider or equivalent Information Technology related role
- Experience leading diverse teams of resources and managing those resources effectively
- Proficient with multiple Project Management methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
- Certified PMP or other project management certificate preferred
