About the role
As a Software Business Analyst, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, designers, developers, end-users, and others, to gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions. You will play a critical role in driving the implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of our clients and support our business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and product managers to understand the business needs, objectives, and requirements for software solutions.
- Process Analysis: Analyze business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Evidence-Based Decision Making: Make decisions based on evidence, drawing on user research, usage and performance data, market research and analysis, and technology trends.
- User Advocacy: Champion the needs of our software users throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, QA, project managers, and other roles as applicable, on development goals.
- Software Development Projects:
- Work closely with product managers throughout projects.
- Conduct user research and gather functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers in refining designs.
- Document business requirements in detailed user stories, use cases and technical specifications.
- Assist in the planning releases/sprints.
- Conduct internal and user-acceptance testing to ensure quality.
- Work with product manager to provide status updates and release communication.
- Assist with post implementation support, including creating release notes, training, and support materials.
- Identify areas for improving the product through customer feedback, usability testing, analytics, and research.
- Stay informed of relevant industry trends and competitive landscape.

- Domain Expertise: Obtain and demonstrate deep understanding of the product’s business domain and users.
- Experience: 1 – 2 years of software Business Analysis or comparable experience.
- Communication: Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

- Software Experience:MS Office, MS Teams, and a working knowledge of enterprise-level applications.
- Product Management experience in enterprise SaaS.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar project management software.
- Experience with databases (SQL) and APIs.
- Experience with MS Dynamics.
- Experience in the Insurance, Finance, or E-commerce industries.
